Dear Ashram Family,

First and foremost we want to reach out and wish you and your loved ones health and safety in these turbulent times.

Second, we regret to announce that in consideration for the health and safety of our staff and guests, we will be temporary closing The Ashram California and hope to open in June or as soon as we know that it is safe for all to operate our program.

While our prayers go out to those affected, we are determined to take this as an opportunity to refine and reflect on how to best continue our 46-year mission of promoting health and well being with new protocols in place.
These include the following:

• Offering private rooms for each guest

• Screening anyone who has traveled to affected areas or who may have been otherwise exposed and accommodating them through re- booking or refunding their reservations

• Instituting even more frequent and diligent cleaning of all high-touch areas, and heightened food-handling safety

• Disinfecting all gym equipment and yoga mats after each use

• Disinfecting all doorknobs, railings and common areas frequently

• Thoroughly disinfecting the house and rooms at the end of each day and week

• Thoroughly disinfecting massage rooms after each guest

• Ensuring kitchen staff wear gloves at all times

• Adding hand sanitizing wipes to each guest room

• Taking all sensible precautions in making sure any staff who is beginning to feel any sort of illness stay home for an extended period of time

• We continue to closely monitor the CDC and the Los Angeles County Public Health Department and are ready to respond to any new developments or recommendations

We would like our guests to feel as safe and comfortable as possible while they strengthen their immune systems here with clean air, powerful Nature, healthy, organic foods and a lot of love and care. With clean hands and open hearts we remain ready to offer a true sanctuary to restore balance and peace in your life.
